Navigator Transportation is an entity of Melanin Minded LLC. It ensures effective transportation for seniors with dementia and their caregivers.
Navigator Transportation will help individuals who can no longer drive due to the progression of the disease. We help them navigate within the community to connect with resources and activities.
The Navigator Transportation driver-partners will be recruited throughout the local area. Training sessions will ensure that driver-partners will provide safe and conscious transportation to those living with Alzheimer’s and Dementia, and as well as caregivers, and other seniors.

Melanin Minded LLC seeks to recognize the youth for their contribution to care as a personal care worker or PCW. This intervention also provides opportunities for people with dementia to remain in the least restrictive environments and thrive as contributing members of society as long as possible.

We provide a number of interventions intended to increase the self-efficacy of in-home caregivers of sanguine and non-sanguine patients.

This will measure the effects of these interventions on the self-efficacy of the caregiver. Interventions include both participatory and task-oriented activities.

The focus will primarily be on the caregiver.
